Situation

Mountain Retreat was established to fill a need for education and collaboration of mental health care professionals in West Virginia and surrounding states.  The conference is held over three days in the fall at Snowshoe Mountain Resort and highlights numerous top-notch speakers.

Strategy

CH&CO coordinated the event which included:

• Program development
• Marketing of the conference to targeted medical professionals
• Design of logo, brochure, website and posters
• Securing of speakers 
• Registration
• Logistics
• Coordination with CAMC and accreditation
  institutes

There have been hundreds of participants who attend Mountain Retreat each year and the conference is continuously tailored based on feedback garnered from these participants. Providing a conference that people want to come back to year after year for ten years has been a huge accomplishment.
